Holley Ltd is a family run company based in East Sussex, England. We specialise in supplying wood shavings and sawdust products in the South East of England to the Equestrian, Cattle & Poultry markets since the 1990's.
In more recent years, whilst working with various timber mills, we introduced our haulage division. We are now able to provide haulage with a variety of vehicles including flat beds, timber trailers & walking floor trailers.
In the last year or so we have also started supplying woodchip to national and private biomass burners.

A few pointers to help you get the best from your bedding, sawdust or woodchip.
This depends on stable/pen size, the animal, and how deep a bed you prefer. As a general guide, a standard 12ft x 12ft stable needs a deeper initial bed followed by regular top-ups. Get in touch and we can help you work out roughly how much you'll need.
Keep bales/bags off the ground, under cover and in a dry, well-ventilated area. This keeps the product in the best condition and stops it absorbing moisture before you need it.
Wood shavings are larger, curled pieces of wood that give good bulk and a soft, springy bed. Sawdust is much finer, so it's more absorbent but can be dustier - some customers prefer a mix of both.
Yes - our shavings and sawdust grades are widely used for poultry bedding as well as equestrian and cattle bedding.
Our shavings are processed to reduce dust content, helping keep the air cleaner for you and your animals. If dust extraction is especially important for your yard, let us know and we'll point you to the right grade.
