Terms and Conditions
Title of Goods
The ownership of all goods referred to remains the property of the “Holley” Group of companies until full payment has been made. The Company reserves the right to repossess goods that are not paid for.
Acceptance
The customer accepts these terms and conditions when they place a verbal order, email order, Facebook or even text order.
Payment Terms
Our credit terms are strictly Card Payment, Internet Banking, Direct Debit or Mobile App Payment, unless alternative arrangements have been made prior to delivery. We reserve the right to charge interest on all accounts unpaid at the rate of 4% above Barclays Bank Base Rate until outstanding account has been paid in full.
Delivery Charges
Our prices include delivery cost unless otherwise stated. Hand stacking is available on request prior to delivery as an extra charge.
Delivery
All drivers must be enabled to unload within 15 minutes of arriving on site if for whatever reason the driver cannot due to no fault of his own a standing charge will be applied.
Bales are delivered on pallets and unloaded by forklift and placed at the nearest convenient place available to the driver/machine from the lorry.
Customers ordering vehicles off hardstanding ground against the wishes of the driver do so at their own responsibility and if any vehicles get stuck the charge for recovery, waiting time, damages/breakages and loss of work due to damage will be charged to the customer.
Delivery will be made within 7 working days, if it is going to take longer you will be informed at the point of order.
Availability
We try hard to hold all lines in stock; however, all lines are offered subject to being available at the time of loading.
Price Increases
Prices may be subject to alterations without prior notice, but we endeavour to give at least 7 days’ notice of an increase and we always try to be competitive.
Liability
Goods are not tested as fit for any specific purpose. In no circumstances, whatsoever shall the “Holley” Group of Companies liability to customers arising under, out of or in contention with the goods supplied exceed the invoice price of the particular items in regards with the complaint. We will not take any responsibility for any damage done to a customer’s property
Notice Regarding Products
Purpose made bedding, with any medium to large flake shavings, are made from fresh timber being put through a massive cheese grater to make the flakes, if the blades hit a knot in the wood the log can shatter, hence causing some splinters. The manufacture goes to great lengths to try to eliminate this, but the holes in the screeners must be large enough to allow the large flakes to drop though so this means splinters can upend and drop through also. The company accept no liability for any damage/injury caused by splinters found in the products
Timber milled Products, with our small flake shavings, are made from a planning saw, rather than the purpose made bedding (as above) the shavings are produced from fresh raw timber, and depending on the wood product being manufactured by the Timber mill predicts the size of the shaving, therefore sometimes the shavings produced can have a slightly smaller flake than usual. All products are dust extracted.
Pallets – Returnable or Chargeable
The Customer undertakes to return the pallets of the product immediately after the product is delivered to him/her. If the customer does not return the pallets of the product immediately to “Holley” company in the same state as the pallet was left after delivery, the buyer is required to compensate the price of the pallet within 30 days. Holley’s shall submit an invoice for the pallets that are not returned or are damaged.
